The back-to-school season comes with stress for some families who don’t have the resources to provide new school supplies for their kids. To help all students feel like their best selves on the first day of school, a hairstylist in Massachusetts gave free haircuts and school supplies to dozens of kids in need. Amanda Barnett organized the “free kids cuts” events at her salon, where she gave kids a confidence boost and items to fill their backpacks with. Thanks to Barnett’s kindness, the students of Leominster, MA, are excited for class and a weight is lifted off their parents’ shoulders.
