Inclusivity in the NFL

Saints defensive tackle Khalen Saunders is using his platform to champion inclusivity in sports by launching an LGBTQ+ youth football camp in his hometown of St. Louis this summer. Inspired by his brother Kameron—an openly gay dancer and choreographer for Taylor Swift—Saunders wants every young athlete to feel safe to be who they are on the field. He’s partnering with organizations like GLAAD and the NFL Pride Football Combine, to show the next generation of professional athletes that football is for all. By confronting locker-room toxicity and teaching empathy over ignorance, he’s creating a space where talent—not sexual identity—matters.
