Festival Honors Dolly Parton
Dolly Parton’s legacy will be celebrated with DollyFest, a music festival that was originally dreamed up by Parton herself. Before her recent passing, Parton had planned the event as an 80th birthday celebration in Nashville, where she would host and perform alongside other artists, but plans were postponed when she faced health challenges. Now, her estate is bringing that vision to life as an official celebration of her life and career, expanding DollyFest to two consecutive weekends in Nashville and London in 2027. In lieu of a traditional public memorial, Parton’s memory will now be honored in a much more fitting joyful, music-filled celebration. While performers, dates, and ticket information have yet to be announced, the festival will give artists and fans from around the world an opportunity to come together and celebrate Parton’s music, generosity, and lasting impact.
