Bella-Jay Dark, a 5-year-old girl from Weymouth, England, has taken the title of youngest published author. This year, Ginger Frye Press published Bella-Jay’s book called The Lost Cat. The story follows the journey of Snowy, a cat who gets lost one night and attempts to return home. Bella-Jay’s original drawings are featured throughout the book, and she was kind enough to let her older sister Lacie May include a drawing as well. Since its release, The Lost Cat has sold over 1,000 copies. Bella-Jay has been interested in storytelling since she was three years old and is excited to start on her next book.
