NYC’s Free Comedy Ferry

Pete Davidson and Colin Jost are putting their famously unusual Staten Island Ferry purchase to use by transforming it into a free floating comedy club for New Yorkers. The former Saturday Night Live costars purchased the decommissioned ferry in 2022, and on September 17, it will become the “Snapple Island Ferry” for a one-night-only event at Pier 17. Davidson and Jost will host the one-night-only show, which will feature performances from several rising comedians and is being produced by the team behind The Stand comedy club. The event gives New Yorkers a fun, unexpected way to enjoy live comedy while continuing to reinvent an iconic piece of the city’s history as a unique space for entertainment and community.
