When Josiah Vargas pulled up to a McDonald’s in Elkhart, Indiana to pick up a sausage McMuffin, he never expected what would be inside the paper bag. Upon opening the bag for his food, Vargas found bags of cash that totalled $5,000. Vargas claims he was tempted to keep it, but took it as a test from the universe and returned it to McDonalds. The staff at the store had accidentally misplaced the cash register deposit and were elated to see that their funds had been located. The staff ended up giving Vargas $200 and a month of free McDonalds to thank him for his act of kindness in returning the money bag.
