Quiana Rowe, otherwise known as “Q”, is a single mother of five and manager of eight Walmart stores in New Orleans, Louisiana. Q wanted to show love to other single moms out there, because she knows better than anyone that they are often forgotten about when it comes to holidays, birthdays, and the struggles of daily life raising kids on their own. She started a Facebook page where single moms from around the country can reach out, and Q sends them a gift that she purchases herself from Walmart. Whether it’s a box of snacks or self-care goodies, single moms everywhere are grateful for Q’s kind gesture. Q writes, “You can do this!” on a note with each gift she sends— her favorite phrase that keeps her going on the hard days.
