Scruff, otherwise known as the “eco dog”, has gotten into the habit of picking up plastic bottles on the ground while on his daily walks around the neighborhood. The 13-year-old border collie has retrieved over 1,000 bottles this year and has been a major help in keeping the streets clean. Scruff’s owners, David and Yvonne, claim that Scruff has always loved retrieving objects and took an interest in plastic bottles as a puppy. The couple posts about the pup’s findings using the hashtag #scruffsbottlepatrol, which has gained a following on social media. Keep up the good work, Scruff!
