LA’s Intergenerational Orchestra

The Heart of Los Angeles Eisner Intergenerational Orchestra, known as HOLA, is a first of its kind program to bring the Los Angeles community together through music. The orchestra includes musicians ages 14 to 76 of varying degrees of training and experience. HOLA was created to bridge cultural gaps, foster intergenerational friendships, provide mentorship opportunities for young musicians, and perform incredible shows for Los Angeles. HOLA’s success has allowed them to expand to a choir and jazz band, and they hope to include additional spin-offs soon. Orchestra members say HOLA is a unique family that supports and encourages each other both on and off the stage.
