Athletes from around the world have been showcasing their impressive talents at the Beijing Olympics. So far, Team USA figure skater Nathan Chen was awarded the highest score ever recorded in a men’s short program (113.97) and ROC’s Kamila Valieva became the first woman to land a quadruple jump at the Olympics. New Zealand took home their first ever gold medal from any Winter Olympics, thanks to Zoi Sadowski-Synnott’s stellar performance in women’s slopestyle snowboarding. Jesse Diggins made U.S. Olympic history by winning the country’s first ever medal in women’s cross country skiing. Snowboarding legend Shaun White took his last Olympic run on the half pipe, where American Chloe Kim took home the gold in the women’s race.
