The Cottesmore School, a boarding prep school in the UK, has become the first school in the world to have an AI robot as its principal. The robot is named Abigail Bailey and was developed using AI technology, machine learning, and educational management skills. Principal Bailey has many duties around the school, including assisting teachers, writing school policies, and providing extra support to students with learning differences. In addition to a robot principal, students at Cottesmore also have their own individual robots to provide educational support. Cottesmore is on the forefront of integrating AI technology into traditional schooling, and education leaders around the world are curious to track the effectiveness of their new robot program.
