A five-year-old boy named Max Evans-Browning from Wales created a heartfelt tribute to Sir David Attenborough for his 99th birthday by drawing 99 of the naturalist’s favorite animals. Over four evenings, Max filled sheets of paper with detailed illustrations, reflecting his deep admiration for Attenborough and his passion for wildlife. His mother, Samantha, shared the drawings on social media, hoping they might reach Sir David himself. The post quickly gained traction, with supportive comments coming from around the world. Max, who has watched all of Attenborough’s documentaries and owns numerous animal encyclopedias, even dressed up as his hero for World Book Day at age three. His mother describes him as an environmentally conscious child who enjoys picking up litter in their neighborhood in his free time and is deeply concerned about ocean pollution. She hopes this gesture will "make her little boy’s dream come true" by connecting him with the man who has inspired his love for the natural world.
