Making Gymnastics Inclusive

Hannah Louise, an 18-year-old in the UK, is working to make the gymnastics world a more inclusive place. The teen has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which causes her to have hypermobile joints, chronic pain, and fatigue, but it hasn’t stopped her from pursuing her passion of gymnastics. Louise joined a gymnastics club, where she can learn new skills and practice alongside gymnasts without being treated differently because of her disability. She has competed in regional and national competitions for disability acrobatic gymnastics and has accumulated many accolades over the last four years she’s been in the sport. Louise has garnered significant attention for her talent and has encouraged people of all abilities to experience the joys of gymnastics.
