Instacart Shopper Saves a Life

Jessica Higgs took to TikTok last week to share a story about her dramatic Instacart delivery. A woman in Georgia placed a grocery order to be delivered to her father’s house, and Higgs was instructed to leave the groceries on the recipient’s front porch. However, Higgs’ intuition told her something was wrong, and she decided to drop the groceries off inside the home. As soon as she entered the house, Higgs noticed the man inside looked extremely ill. Higgs herself began feeling dizzy and noticed there was a propane tank, leading her to believe there was a gas leak. She messaged the woman who placed the order to inform her, and got a response that she would check it out, along with a $100 tip. As it turns out, Higgs later received a message that it was in fact a gas leak and she saved the man’s life. In her tearful viral video, Higgs claims, “If you see something, say something.”
