Eighteen-year-old Tucker Emry from Baltimore has been named the 2025 Ambassador for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, a role that celebrates his vibrant personality and advocacy for inclusion. A student at The Harbour School in Maryland, Tucker is deeply involved in his community—whether he's acting in school plays like A Midsummer Night’s Dream, participating in Special Olympics, or volunteering at his church. He recently took the spotlight at the AcceptAbility Gala in Washington, D.C., co-headlining the event with American Idol winner Phillip Phillips and helping raise critical funds for Down syndrome research. Tucker’s appointment comes as the Foundation works to expand federal funding for inclusive medical studies and amplify voices like his. Ticker is proving that representation matters with his determination to make the world a more inclusive place, and his infectious positivity has made him a powerful voice for the Down syndrome community.
