Dr. Harold Roberts Jr. and his daughter, Dr. Sophia Roberts, recently teamed up for a heart surgery. Dr. Sophia Roberts is a resident at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, where she’s training to become a heart surgeon. Her father is an associate professor of cardiac surgery at the same hospital. When Dr. Harold Roberts Jr.’s usual assistants were out of commission due to COVID, he asked his daughter to step in to help with an aortic valve replacement. The father daughter duo successfully completed the surgery and say it was a moment they’ll remember forever.
