143 Acts of Kindness

Kevin Bonecutter is on a mission to do 143 acts of kindness in the span of 40 days. The journey began on June 1st, when the Cincinnati native completed his first act of kindness. Since then, he’s done everything from cutting grass in vacant lots, to picking up trash, to running a 5k for pediatric brain cancer research, to handing out food to the homeless, to helping elderly cross the street in the rain. Bonecutter picked the number 143 because Mr. Rogers claimed that the number was a unique way of expressing the phrase “I love you”. Bonecutter wanted to embody Mr. Rogers’ kind spirit by spreading love to his community. He hopes that his project starts a ripple effect and encourages others to be kinder to one another.
