For the past seven years, Rita Collins has spent several months traveling around the country in a mobile bookstore called Saint Rita’s Amazing Traveling Bookstore. The 70-year-old set up a one-of-a-kind store in the back of a white sprinter van. She parks the vehicle outside farmer’s markets and coffee shops across the USA to bring the joy of reading to everyone. There are around 600 books inside the van, which has traveled across 30 states so far. Along the way, Collins has connected with people, shared thousands of books, and had lots of fun exploring the country.
