Paramedic Twins Save Lives

51-year-old twins Angie and Steve Mills both work for the London Ambulance Service— Angie as an emergency call handler and Steve as a paramedic. The twins developed a passion for helping those in medical emergencies after losing their own father to cardiac arrest when he was 61 years old. Angie recently decided to spend a day away from the emergency phone lines to shadow a crew of paramedics and joined Steve in his ambulance for the first time. While working together, the twins responded to a cardiac arrest call and performed lifesaving CPR to a man that was the same age as their father was when he died. It was a full circle moment for the Mills twins, who said that saving the man was even more rewarding since they got to experience it together, on their very first day working as a pair.
