Gabriel Clark, a 12-year-old from Cumbria, England, is using his passion for woodworking to raise money for Ukraine. Clark took to his Instagram account to raffle off a beautiful blue and yellow bowl he had made, pledging to donate the profits to Save the Children to help kids living in war torn Ukraine. The post took social media by storm, with celebrities like JK Rowling and Stephen Fry sharing their support on Twitter. By the time the winner was announced, Clark had raised over $325,000 for Save the Children. Though a winner had been chosen for the bowl, Clark kept the fundraising page open for several days to continue raising money for the important issue. Save the Children plans to use the money for hygiene kits and necessary supplies for kids in Ukraine.
