An Atlanta nonprofit is helping fathers build stronger relationships with their children by turning reading into a shared family tradition. The Library Dads brings dads and their kids together at local libraries for story time, literacy activities, and opportunities to connect with one another. What began as a weekly outing between founder Khari Arnold and his daughter has grown into a thriving community that encourages fathers to play an active role in their children's early learning while fostering a love of books. The organization also combats the isolation many dads experience by creating a supportive network where they can share experiences and encouragement. By strengthening family bonds through reading, The Library Dads is helping raise confident young readers while reminding fathers that some of life's most meaningful moments begin with simply opening a book together.
