Steve Carell, in collaboration with the nonprofit organization Alice's Kids, surprised students from six Southern California high schools affected by recent wildfires by covering their prom ticket expenses. In a video message, Carell announced that Alice's Kids would pay for all prom tickets or reimburse those who had already purchased them. This initiative aims to provide relief and a sense of normalcy to over 800 students impacted by the devastating fires, with the charity donating approximately $175,000 for this cause. The wildfires destroyed more than 16,000 structures and disrupted the lives of many students and their families. Carell's gesture offers these students an opportunity to enjoy a memorable prom night despite the challenges they've faced.
