When Post Malone was in Glasgow for a concert, he stopped by a pub to grab a drink and struck up a conversation with local musician Gregor Hunter Coleman. Coleman had a gig at the pub that night, and Post Malone was impressed with his performance. The two talked for hours about music and life, and 30-year-old Coleman confessed to Post Malone that he wasn’t drinking alcohol as a way to save money to buy a house. In lieu of buying Coleman a drink, Post Malone asked Coleman to perform at his afterparty and also offered to pay the deposit of the home Coleman was saving up for. Coleman said the experience has changed his life, and he hopes the exposure from performing at Post Malone’s afterparty will help jump-start his career.
