Delivery for Zero Waste Shops

Zero waste refill shops are a sustainable way to grocery shop, but they aren’t always a convenient option since there are few shops available and they require shoppers to transport several large containers. Louisa Robertson-Macleod wanted to tackle these issues by launching Duan, a London-based pantry refill service that delivers goods from zero waste shops directly to your doorstep. Shoppers place orders online, and Robertson-Macleod delivers them in reusable, drawstring bags via e-bike within a few days. Duan has allowed for zero waste shops to have a broader reach, allowing the eco-friendly shopping option to become more popular in London. Robertson-Macleod hopes that if the model continues to be successful, Duan can expand to other cities around the world.
