After completing 650 Make-A-Wish wishes, John Cena has set the world record for most amount of wishes granted. The WWE star began granting wishes with the organization in 2002, and has become one of the most commonly requested wishes among kids with serious medical ailments. Cena is the only celebrity in the history of Make-A-Wish to grant more than 200 wishes. Cena previously told Reuters that when he receives a request, “I will drop what I’m doing and be involved because I think that’s the coolest thing.” Philanthropy is near and dear to Cena’s heart. This summer, he traveled to Amsterdam to meet Misha, a young man with down syndrome who had fled the war in Ukraine after his home was destroyed. Cena plans to continue to bring joy to kids around the world for as long as he can.
